What is the ExzoSwap Crypto Wallet?

ExzoSwap Multi-Chain Crypto Wallet is a self-custody wallet that gives you complete control of your crypto. This means that the privatekeys (that represent ownership of the cryptocurrency) for your Wallet arestored directly on your mobile device and not with a centralized exchange.

Getting Started: Secure Crypto Wallet Mobile App

Let’s get you set up to use the ExzoSwap Wallet mobile app. To get started, you can either or import an existing wallet using a 12-word recovery phrase from another wallet provider like MetaMask or Trust Wallet, Coinbase wallet or even another wallet.

In either scenario you will have to download the ExzoSwap multi-chain crypto wallet on the Apple app store or Google play store.

Create a new wallet

First, download the mobile app if you haven’t already.

Step 1: Select “Create a new wallet”.

Step 2: Review and accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Step 3: Sign up with your email, password, and phone number. This is how you can activate 2-factor authentication.

Step 4: Select your language and country.

Step 5: Choose your preferred security method, biometrics or a passcode. We recommend biometric authentication.

Step 6: Choose to take the beginners quiz to non-custodial wallets or choose to skip it. We recommend anyone new to crypto, DeFi, or non-custodial wallets takes the quiz.

Step 7: Backup your recovery phrase. Your recovery phrase is the key to your wallet. Keep this safe, as this is the key to access your wallet and ExzoSwap and Exzo Network cannot recover this phrase for you.

If you choose to “backup manually”, your recovery phrase will be displayed for you to write down, or to copy and paste in a secure location.

Now, re-enter your phrase in order to confirm your backup.

Step 8: All done - your ExzoSwap Wallet is ready!

Import or recover an existing wallet

Jump to a wallet that you’d like to import from:

In order to import an existing wallet, you must be able to access the wallet’s recovery phrase.

Most wallets have a 12-word recovery phrase, which acts as the key to your wallet. These words must be kept safe. No wallet provider, including Coinbase, can recover this 12-word recovery phrase for you.

Recovery phrases are portable, enabling you to transfer your wallet from one self-custody wallet provider to another. With Coinbase Wallet, you can import any wallet that you may have created with another provider such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and others. You can also recover your existing ExzoSwap crypto wallet using your recovery phrase.

When you import an existing wallet using your recovery phrase into the ExzoSwap Secure Crypto Wallet, you will be able to continue using your wallet across multiple providers, and any transactions you make will show up in your wallet across all of your wallet providers.

While the recovery phrase is portable, the app passcode and/or cloud backup password that you set for your wallet is provider-specific and will not be ported over to another provider. Like recovery phrases, passcodes and passwords cannot be recovered by any wallet provider, including the ExzoSwap Secure Crypto Wallet.

Trade on decentralized exchanges?

What is the decentralized exchange (DEX) integration?

ExzoSwap’s Multi-Chain Wallet offers a decentralized exchange (DEX) integration, which is a crypto conversion feature that lets you easily trade ERC-20, BEP-20, and other assets in your Wallet. When you use the Trade feature, you send your funds directly from your Wallet to a DEX service like Uniswap or 1inch.exchange. You can access this feature on the ExzoSwap Multi-Chain Crypto Wallet app and browser extension.

Note: Since conversions take place on a third-party decentralized exchange, it is possible for the price to fluctuate. Conversions will execute at a price within 2% of the estimate, or the transaction will be canceled, and your funds returned to your wallet.

What assets are available for trading?

ExzoSwap multi-chain crypto wallet supports assets hosted on the Ethereum blockchain (ETH), Binance Smart Chain (BSC), CELO Network (CELO), Avalanche (AVAX), Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL) and Polygon network (POLY, so only assets on those networks are available for crypto-to-crypto conversions at this time.

Important Notice:

  • ExzoSwap Wallet can only store supported cryptocurrencies and access dApps on supported networks
  • Double-check that ExzoSwap Wallet supports the network you are receiving assets from, otherwise you won’t be able to access these assets
  • Sending or receiving unsupported assets through ExzoSwap Wallet will cause you to lose them

You can view supported cryptocurrencies in the ExzoSwap Wallet by opening the Wallet app and tapping Receive.

What Networks does ExzoSwap Wallet Support?

ExzoSwap Multi-Chain Crypto Wallet supports Ethereum and all EVM-compatible networks, along with several other networks in both the mobile app and browser extension. Coinbase Wallet comes with the following networks already configured, however you can add other EVM-compatible networks manually as well:

  • Arbitrum
  • Avalanche C-Chain
  • Bitcoin
  • BNB Binance Smart Chain
  • Celo Network
  • Ethereum
  • Fantom Opera
  • Optimism
  • Polygon/MATIC
  • Solana
  • xDai

In addition to supporting Ethereum and all EVM-compatible networks, the mobile app also supports Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Solana, Celo Network, and several other networks.

Note: Sending funds between your centralized exchange accounts and ExzoSwap Wallet takes place on the blockchain and is subject to standard network fees.

What assets are supported on the ExzoSwap Wallet?

The ExzoSwap Wallet supports hundreds of thousands of tokens, including all ERC-20 tokens and all tokens on EVM-compatible chains, such as Avalanche C-Chain and Polygon. This includes stable coins (like USDC and DAI) on all of ExzoSwap's Wallet supported networks.

The fees help ExzoSwap Wallet maintain and improve your experience.

Why did my trade fail?

A trade could fail because of a sudden shift in the exchange price between the cryptocurrencies you are trying to convert. We recommend you wait at least 60 seconds before retrying the transaction. If you continue to encounter this error, please restart the app and check that you are running the most up-to-date version of the app.

If the issue continues to persist, try uninstalling and reinstalling the ExzoSwap Wallet app before retrying the transaction.

Important: Make sure you back up your recovery phrase/private key(s)/seed phrase before uninstalling/reinstalling the app. If you lose access to your recovery phrase, you will lose access to your ExzoSwap Wallet. ExzoSwap, Exzo Network, and its affiliated entities are not responsible for lost funds or the loss of your recovery phrase. We cannot retrieve the recovery phrase for you as it is a non-custodial wallet, and we cannot retrieve your funds for you.

Why is my trade still pending?

Network congestion and/or paid gas fees that are lower than the current network average may be the reason why your trade is still in “pending” status.

Ethereum miners prioritize transactions with the highest paid gas fees. So if your transaction has a lower paid gas fee, then your transaction confirmation on the blockchain gets pushed to the bottom of the queue. As a result, your transaction may become “stuck” as more transactions with higher paid gas fees are added to the network pool. If your transaction has been stuck for an extended period of time then this may be the reason why.

Adjusting miner fees

What are miner fees?

Miner fees, also referred to as network fees, are paid to the miner for processing crypto transactions and securing the respective network. These fees do not go to ExzoSwap or Exzo Network.

What's a "miner"?

A miner is an individual or entity that manages a (or group of nodes) which are responsible for adding new transactions to blocks and verifying blocks created by other miners.

What's a "node"?

A node is a computer that runs the software of a blockchain network, enabling the node to store and validate transactions on the network and earn cryptocurrency rewards.

A blockchain network consists of many nodes that coordinate to achieve consensus on the state of the network (e.g., the most up to date account of all token transfers and wallet address balances on the ledger).

Adjusting your transaction speed

ExzoSwap Wallet allows you to adjust the miner fee when you make a transaction. If you adjust the miner fee, you’ll be presented with the option to select the speed at which your transaction will be picked up and confirmed by the network.

Transaction speeds
  • Slow: Transaction is less expensive and will take longer to confirm.
  • Normal: Transaction is priced at an average rate and will take an average time to confirm.
  • Fast: Transaction is the most expensive but the transaction will also confirm the quickest.

Miners prioritize transactions with the highest paid miner fees. So, if your transaction has a lower paid miner fee, then your transaction confirmation on the blockchain gets pushed to the bottom of the queue. As a result, your transaction may become “stuck” as more transactions with higher paid miner fees are added to the network pool.

Steps to adjust your transaction speed
  1. Tap the gear icon on the Swap page in the top right.
  2. Select your speed (Slow, Normal, Fast, or Custom).

You can also customize the miner fee. Selecting this option will allow you to manually enter the max fee, max priority fee, gas limit, and nonce of the transaction.

Canceling your pending ERC-20 transaction

If your transaction is stuck in pending, refresh your session by signing out and signing back into your ExzoSwap Wallet. Make sure you manually back up your recovery phrase before you sign out.

If you sign in and your transaction is still pending, then continue with one of the following:

Speed up the transaction
  1. Select the pending transaction.
  2. Select the blue lightning button.
  3. Confirm that you want to speed up the transaction.

This will re-submit the transaction with a higher gas fee that should allow the transaction to be processed faster.

Cancel the transaction
  1. Select the pending transaction
  2. Select X.
  3. Confirm the cancellation.
Manually cancel the stuck transaction
  1. Open the stuck transaction details in Etherscan, and note the nonce.
  2. Go back to Wallet and send at least $0.01 of ETH to any valid address.
  3. Select normal or fast as the miner fee options and then replace the nonce in the custom section with the stuck transactions nonce.

Browse NFTs

Crypto is great, but it’s not much to look at. In this guide we’ll explore the world of NFTs and learn how to use our Wallet app to browse, bid, buy and sell.

Step 1: Open your wallet app and navigate to the NFT's tab on the home page or go to the dApp browser for other platforms.

Step 2: Type in the url of your favorite NFT platform in the search bar. If you don’t have a favorite platform yet, get started by checking out popular ones such as OpenSea or Rarible.

Step 3: From there, it's your world to explore. You can use the NFT platform you chose to filter, search, view collections, and more.

If you find something you like, you can place a bid or try to buy it directly. Your wallet and balances are connected directly through the browser for use on the site of your choice. Just make sure you have the right asset available for the auction and any network fees.

Ready to sell? You can use your platform of choice to list the NFT directly from your wallet. You can also direct any of the proceeds back to your wallet.

Before you go, don’t forget to bookmark the site to visit again later.
